News update 26 April 2011

Hope you all had a great Easter week-end

Focus for the week

The focus for this short week is Testing, Thursday training is given over to the Shinai for every lesson, however if anyone needs to test on that day we will make it happen. Testing will also run into next week. Guests and non members are welcome to train with the Shinai on Thursday. Experienced students may get an opportunity to do some live sword cutting.

Royal Wedding

Due to the Royal wedding and the bank holiday we will be closed on Friday and will re-open on Tue 3rd May. Have a good week-end and don’t forget the catch up classes.

Thor day

A themed fun day for the Dragons and Juniors is planned for 4th May. Dress as a Viking, invite friends to do the same, come along and have a great time. Prizes for the best costumes.

Knife Defence

Knife defence training is planned for Friday 6th of May. All scheduled classes on the day will be focused on Knife defence. Testing will be available for those that need it. Again this is an open event please feel free to invite friends and family.

Adult social

More details to follow but see if you can be free to join us for a social after training on Fri 20th May. Classes that day will end at 7.30. We are looking to book a room at a local pub for a themed event.
