News Update Monday 21 January

Training Focus

It’s week 4 of January, and the way the dates have fallen mean that January is a 5 week month in Dojo-land, thus it is still Curriculum Practice this week.

Family Fitness Day

Wednesday 23rd January, class times.

This event is open to Dragons as well as Juniors/Cadets, we are inviting family members on to the mat to try out some of what we do as well and have a great time with the kids. J/Cs, we are rewarding you with 10,000 Aiki-yen for every relative that you bring!

Outdoor Self Defence

Friday 25th January, 18:30.

We will be going to Woodthorpe park to run out outdoor self defence simulator. The aim of theses personal safety sessions is to give you previous but safe experience of hazardous situations that you will be able refer back to in order to base future choices should you need to. Arrive at the Dojo for at least 18:10 to give us enough time to get to the park, or met us there no later that 18:20.


Thursday 28th February, 17:00 to 18:15 (ish)

Use your hard, earned yen to bid on prizes. We need more prizes! Bring in old toys, games, DVDs etc and you will be handsomely rewarded

Board Break

Date TBD (Usually a friday), 18:30.

If like everyone else you’ve found your year to have a bit of a slow start, then get along to the board break and get your drive back! Our motivational seminars are second to none, we will get you fired up and ready to conquore 2013!
